Maintenance and service

High demands are made of the functioning of all the installations described early, from swinging bell to carillon and from tower clock to moving figures. All the more so because a large proportion of them are often exposed to severely variable climatic conditions. Our installations can be trusted to operate continuously twenty-four hours a day, every day including Sundays and holidays.

Specialists

Expert maintenance by specialised technicians is essential for this. Eijsbouts runs an experienced maintenance service which guarantees fault-free operation of the installations. Should problems arise, Eijsbouts guarantees quick repair. A maintenance contract ensures periodic inspection of installations to prevent unnecessary wear.

Servicing

All essential components such as bell and clapper suspensions, switches and motor settings are inspected every six or twelve months. Any deviation is corrected and components are replaced where necessary. In some cases, a report is compiled on the installation's condition. This can be followed, free of charge, by a quotation for components or apparatus requiring replacement.

Preventive maintenance

Unfortunately, our technicians repeatedly encounter heavily neglected installations for which no maintenance contract has been agreed. The situation we find is often unacceptable and could be prevented with periodic maintenance. Eijsbouts' consultants can provide assistance in assessing and scheduling maintenance, over several years if desired. A maintenance contract requires a relatively small investment which is easily earned back over a period of time.
